How do you binge watch?
The release of season 3 of The Bear is dropping this week, which got me thinking, do you prefer it when shows release all episodes at once like this? With Disney+, HBO, and Amazon Prime Video firmly committing to weekly releases with their buzziest titles, and Netflix increasingly choosing to split seasons for hits like Bridgerton, Emily in Paris and Cobra Kai, it seems like the "all at once" binge model may be dying out.I used to strongly prefer the immediate gratification of the all-at-once binge, but I find myself increasingly drawn back to the weekly release model, as it allows me to properly "digest" shows I really like, and also allows fans to connect with one another to discuss the show. I think a good argument for this type of model would be AMC+'s Interview with the Vampire, which is released weekly and has built up quite a community online with folks discussing each episode on TikTok and X. Movie soundtracks vs video game soundtracks: Which helps you focus more?
Since college, I've been gathering what has turned into thousands of instrumental songs on a Spotify studying playlist. Since entering true adulthood, it's morphed seamlessly into my 9-5 workday soundtrack, as well. While there's a good chunk of epic instrumentals that stand alone as their own masterpieces, the majority of the songs on my playlist are from movies or video games.
Maybe it's because I've been listening to it for over 8 years (though updating it regularly, thanks to Smart Shuffle) but I notice that some songs really put me into the zone more than others -- I'm definitely less productive when I listen to movie soundtracks. I have to believe that it's because I have a scene associated with the song in my head, be it the Interstellar cornfield chase sequence or the How to Train Your Dragon Test Drive theme. Meanwhile, as I don't play video games regularly, I'm not as distracted when any song from Assassin's Creed III

What game cancellation are you still upset about to this day?
It's a sad fact of the industry, but not all games make it to the finish line. Whether it be due to budget cuts, studio closures, or the game simply not coming together and the team moving on, plenty of games never end up seeing the light of day. More often than not, this happens without us being even aware of it since these decisions tend to happen in secret before a game is officially revealed. But there are occasions where games are shown off, and sometimes even played, before getting canceled. Those are the ones that hurt the most because we were all building them up in our minds how awesome it could have been. For example, it's been over 10 years now but people still lament the loss of Silent Hills after the amazing P.T. demo. Other games, like Star Wars 1313, had such amazing potential because of the people working on it. And then there are cases like how we later learned that there was originally going to be a Titanfall 3 before the team changed course to Apex Legends. V
