In addition to in-person cash reloads, Netspend offers several electronic options for reloading your account. Some options make use of the card's routing and account number, which functions similarly to those of a traditional bank account.

Direct Deposit

You can have your paycheck direct deposited into your Netspend Card and, generally, get your funds up to two days faster than with the traditional banking practice. Direct deposit works with a variety of checks, including:

If you have a physical check to deposit to your account, you can use the Netspend Mobile App to take a photo of your check with your phone to complete the deposit. Inside the app, select the "Mobile Check Load" option, which guides you through the process of taking photos of your check.

Bank Transfer

You can add money to your Netspend card from a checking or savings account as long as your bank participates. To transfer money, log in to your account and link your bank account to your Netspend Card. Some banks may charge a fee for transfers.
